HIV AIDS Control Measures Suggested for Nigeria

Sex is the major mode of transmission of HIV AIDS in Trans Sahara Africa according to recent survey carried out in Nigeria. Its transmission has increased tremendously, forcing to ruin humanity.  However, Nigeria is the second country in the world that her populace is faced with this epidemic. So how do we tackle this deadly problem?
Then let us ask ourselves one question. What is the cause of unprotected sex and sex scandals in our society today? Since this is the major mode of transmission.
Many Nigerian women mostly ladies normally involve in sex as their quick and easy way of earning a living as a results of inability to secure jobs especially those that are not educated. Also those who tried to secure temporary jobs and earn as little as N5, 000 per month are also seen depending partly with sex partners for money.

Poverty therefore is the major cause of HIV AIDS distribution in Nigeria today according to survey i personally carried out in November 2010.

How do we fight this dreaded disease?

1. The federal government should come up with a policy that; any hotel, chalet, lodging accommodation, etc operating in this country must drop at least a packet of certified condom in her hotel room and new one be replaced after each time a hotel room is used.

This is necessary because a lot of men find it very difficult to go out of a hotel sex room again to buy condoms as soon as they get lost to a lady. Remember, married men do not like to have condoms on them due to their wives who might suddenly discover it from their wallets.

2. Notices in form of creation of awareness of HIV AIDS should be placed on designated areas on all hotels, chalets, etc.

3. Women should be considered for several areas of endeavours to contribute to good percentage of the national work force since they are the key function as far as sex is concerned.

4. Stigmatization of victims should be eliminated.

5. Death by hanging should be imposed to any rapist.

6. Sex education that also relates to HIV AIDS awareness should be introduced as part of biological studies to our secondary schools.
7. Birth rate should be controlled.

AND ABOVE ALL

8. Our economy should be improved.
Finally, if the above measures are put into practice, the rate of HIV AIDS transmission shall drop in Nigeria.
